This hackathon is designed for everyone, from seasoned developers to absolute beginners, preferrably students. Our goal is to create innovative solutions using Google technologies, focusing on AI and Machine Learning to tackle real-world problems. Let's build a smarter, better future, together.

Requirements

WHAT TO BUILD

Participants are encouraged to build solutions around one of these four core categories. Each category includes a variety of problem statements to help inspire your team.

  1. AI for Social Good: Use AI to solve pressing local or global social issues.

    • Sample Ideas: Build a system to predict and alert communities to flood risks. Create a tool for analyzing local agricultural data to optimize crop yields. Develop an AI-powered educational app to help students learn a new subject.

  2. Generative AI for Creativity & Productivity: Leverage Generative AI models to create new content or enhance existing workflows.

    • Sample Ideas: Create an AI-powered assistant that helps local businesses generate marketing content. Develop an app that generates personalized stories or art based on user input. Build a tool for developers that uses AI to write or debug code.

  3. Smart Commerce & Local Business Solutions: Develop AI-driven solutions to help local businesses thrive.

    • Ideas: Create a chatbot to improve customer service for a small shop. Build an AI-powered inventory management system. Develop an app that uses computer vision to recommend products based on an image.

  4. AI for Health & Wellness: Use AI to improve health outcomes and promote wellness in our communities. Ideas: Build a system that analyzes health data to provide personalized fitness plans. Develop a mobile app that uses AI to recognize potential health issues from user-uploaded images. Create an AI tool to help diagnose common diseases.


Important Note: Leveraging at least one Google Technology as part of your build stack: such as Google Cloud for hosting and deployment, Stich for prompt UI/UX Design, Firebase (for Database, Hosting, Authentication, Push Notification and lot more), Firebase Studio for quick prototyping, Gemini CLI, Gemini API, Google ADK (Agent Development Kits) and lot more.


WHAT TO SUBMIT

  • Include a public URL to the hosted Project for judging and testing.

  • Include a URL to your Source code repository to show how your project was built. 
    • The repository must contain all necessary source code, assets, and instructions required for the project to be functional. The repository must be public and open source by including an open source license file. This license should be detectable and visible at the top of the repository page (in the About section).
  • Include a demo video (3 minutes). Videos must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo, and made public.
    • Judges will not be required to watch beyond 3 minutes.

  • Specify which build category you’ll be submitting for.

  • Your completed Devpost submission form. (Your devpost submission form should be fill and completed)

  • Creativity & Innovation (25%)
    How unique and innovative is the idea? Does it offer a fresh perspective on a problem?
  • Technical Implementation (25%)
    How well is the project executed? Does it work as intended? How effectively were Google AI technologies utilized?
  • Impact & Feasibility (25%)
    Does the project solve a real problem? Is it scalable and practical to implement?
  • Presentation (25%)
    How well did the team present their idea and prototype? Was the presentation clear, concise, and engaging?
